February has been a busy month for the Growth Support Programme, 16 businesses have received support this month. It’s always great to meet up with new businesses but it’s also good to see old businesses that I have worked with previously and to see how they have grown and help them along the way to reach their goals.
Part of my role is to be a ‘signposter’ and without exception every business has asked about networking events within Torbay.
So for March I have listed some of the many events that could be of interest to you and your business:
15 March, 7am
A great, ‘no pressure’ networking group – A great platform to promote your business.
Exeter Business Breakfast with Oliver Dax.
21 March, 8-10am
Come and meet Oliver Dax, Founder at Monkeys Paw who will be talking about how you can stop selling and start writing business instead
22 March, 6.45-8.45am
If you’re Somerset based and not already attending this one, then you’re missing out! Join this thriving group bright and early and enjoy some breakfast too.
Paignton & District Chamber meets BMAD
23 March 7-10pm
This ticket only event is the first Paignton and District Chamber Networking evening. With speakers, a buffet and a DJ, this looks set to be a great evening. £3 of each ticket fee will be donated to BMAD.
First Tuesday of the month, 7.30-9am
Regularly attracting over 80 people, the informal networking for the first half hour allows for some interesting discussions before a full English breakfast, followed by a 20 minute talk by a guest speaker.
If you are interested in the Growth Support Programme and are an existing business in Torbay you can contact me to find out about the fully funded support by either emailing me on kim.thornton@tedcltd.com or calling me on 07824 889100.
Or if you would like to pop along to a free 1:1 session you can book here. These drop in are available to businesses at any stage of the journey (even if its just a seed on an idea).
