HSBC UK has announced a £14 billion lending fund to support the UK’s small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The bank’s dedicated SME Fund has increased by £2 billion, following a £12 billion package of support in 2018.

Take a game-changing idea to market: apply for an innovation loan

Innovate UK has launched a new £10 million funding competition to support smaller businesses to commercialise their ideas. The deadline for applications is 27 November 2019. Eligible projects can come from any area of the economy and last for up to five years.

Natwest Launch ‘Back Her Business’ Initiative help female entrepreneurs

Natwest are running an initiative alongside Crowdfunder to help more females turn their business ideas into reality.

The campaign is offering free coaching, mentoring and opportunities to meet like minded women along with up to 50% of a fundraising target in grant funding for some projects.
