Train4Tomorrow are running two jobs fairs on May 26 and September 8, which will run from 9am to 4pm, giving learners, recently graduating from Train4Tomorrow’s digital and technical training bootcamps, the chance to speak to as many different local employers as possible.
Local employers are invited to have their own virtual table, which will be attended by up to 6 learners at a time, for 15 minutes slots. Here, employers can showcase their business, promote vacancies and meet with potential candidates – you could even arrange future interviews or conduct mini interviews on the day.
Throughout the day there will also be 6 keynote speakers, from a range of industries, giving talks on inspiring topics.
A detailed plan of the jobs fairs timetables and how to navigate the online platform will be sent to learners and employers ahead of the event.
Train4Tomorrow offer free, high quality, digital and technical training to employed and unemployed adults in Devon, Plymouth, Somerset, Torbay, Cornwall and Dorset. The training is designed by industry employers to meet their open and live vacancies.
The programme, funded through the National Skills Fund, includes digital and technical bootcamps that have been designed to help local people advance or pivot their skills into growing sectors resilient to the current economic downturn. You can find out more about the programme here.
The first Train4Tomorrow bootcamps are now concluding and, at our free-to-attend online jobs fairs, we will connect local employers with the highly skilled talent completing the bootcamps.
